Before joining Honeywell, Ms. Khananisho spent seven years with the city of Goodyear, Arizona in a variety of leadership roles.
Since joining the city in 2007 she was commissioned to build and direct four divisions within the City Manager’s office and served as Economic Development Director all while maintaining her responsibilities as the city’s lead lobbyist. She played a key leadership role as a part of the City Managers Executive Management Team as well as the Directors Leadership Team. As the Government Relations Manager, Ms. Khananisho remained responsible for developing and executing federal, state and regional legislative policies; managed federal and state lobbying contracts and worked closely with the Mayor and City Manager on key policy issues.
Before joining the city of Goodyear in 2007, Ms. Khananisho served as Campaign Manager for Proposition 106 Conserving Arizona’s Future Campaign. She was the Director of Public Affairs for Arizona Chamber of Commerce, and a Senior Associate with the public relations firm of DeMenna and Associates in Phoenix.
As a recipient of the Phoenix Business Journal’s prestigious Forty Under 40 award, Ms. Khananisho was recognized for her lobbying efforts and community involvement. She earned her Masters of Business Administration Degree in 2001 from the University of Phoenix, majoring in Global Management, and her Bachelor of Arts Degrees in 1998 from Arizona State University with dual majors in Political Science and Sociology.
